Our experienced Preemie Parent Coach and Mentor will support you as you navigate unfamiliar territory. We help you to develop routines that work for you, support you to document your medical questions, stand by you while you build confidence as your child's medical advocate, and connect you to additional resources. From helping you prioritize your physical and emotional needs, to navigating NICU policies, and fielding questions from loved ones, we will meet you where you are at every step of the way. We help you create balance during your NICU stay so you are optimally resourced and nourished as you care your NICU baby.
We support you before, during, and after your transition from hospital to home to help you set up new routines for caring for your baby in your own home. Through in-person or virtual visits, our compassionate NICU Parent Coaching approach helps you build your own confidence to meet your baby's needs outside of the NICU, to trust your intuition, and to seek the support and guidance of your/your child's medical team when needed.
Labor of Love supports you to navigate the feelings surrounding your birth, NICU, and postpartum journey. We hold space together to honor what is important for you to hold close, and to grieve the loss of the experience you thought you would have. We provide caring, compassionate support and listening that allows you to acknowledge and express the full range of complex emotions that can come with having a NICU/premature baby.
For many preemie parents, the journey of navigating the medical and developmental needs for our child extends beyond the NICU. We support caregivers and families to navigate medical systems of care to ensure that you are not alone as you balance your dual roles of parent and medical advocate. We will support you to prepare for appointments, document your needs and questions, and develop practices to help you care for yourself while caring for a medically complex child.
That is why we are here.

NICU/Preemie Support packages include in-person support (CA Bay Area only), virtual sessions, and include email and text support. Packages are developed to align with the needs of each family and can be tailored to fit any budget.
