The early weeks after birth are a tender time full of transitions. For new and experienced parents alike, postpartum doula support can help you prioritize healing, rest, and bonding as you build confidence and new routines with your growing family. As your postpartum doula, I support your family with informational, emotional, and physical support during the fourth trimester.
With a focus on families impacted by premature birth and NICU experiences...
I support families in the following ways:
Labor of Love supports parents to establish newborn feeding practices through positioning and latch support, bottle feeding techniques, pumping support as needed, and feeding education to align with individualized preferences and needs. We offer referrals to additional resources such as lactation support as appropriate.
Our goal is to equip you to conduct newborn care activities such as bathing, diapering, and sleep routines with confidence. As another set of hands and a listening ear, I am there to support you. Together we navigate how to create balance that allows you to attend to your baby's needs while meeting your own.
You are exactly where you need to be. Labor of Love supports you to triage and navigate daily needs and household tasks so you can quiet the inner noise telling you the dishes need you. We support you to engage the members of your village who want to know what kinds of "help" will be helpful.
We support your mental and emotional needs during the postpartum time of transition through compassionate listening, nonjudgmental support, and connections to community resources.
We provide support with basic tasks including laundry, meal prep, organizing, and errands.
Send a message to get in touch. We offer a free consultation and can tailor a package specifically to meet your needs.
