Labor of Love with support you to craft and tell the story of your pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum/parenting journey. We provide reflection prompts, compassionate listening, and support with processing the sequence of events and the associated feelings that characterize your story.

We host birth story sharing circles where participants can give voice to their experience and be witnessed by others in a supportive, nonjudgmental listening environment. Being seen is simple and powerful medicine. Circles are hosted virtually and in-person. Registration is capped to ensure small group sizes where everyone who wants to has a chance to share their story.

Maya Angelou
Documenting your story allows you to heal, process, and shape the narrative of your own life. "There is a surrendering to your story and then a knowing that you don't have to stay in your story" - Colette Baron Reid
Sharing our stories breaks down the isolation others feel as they walk a similar path. "Tell the story of the mountain you climbed. Your words could become a page in someone else's survival guide." - Morgan Harper Nichols
The world needs our stories to create better pathways for those who come after us. "You are not a victim for sharing your story. You are a survivor setting the world on fire with your truth. And you never know who needs your light, your warmth, and raging courage." - Alex Elle
Whether you share your story with others or keep it to yourself, documenting your story gives space for its energy to move through you. Telling our stories gives us power to own, celebrate, and honor our experiences and to shape (and reshape) the narratives about ourselves that we carry forward in our cells, hearts, and minds.
